1. What O’Reilly doesn’t mention is that only one of the 8 political parties in the Danish parliament supports serious tax cuts…Sure…some of the other parties would indeed like to see tax cuts, but it’s not part of their political programme. Why? Because it would lead to serious cuts in our social welfare, and the wast majority of the Danish population don’t want that.
2. O’Reilly and his banshees are very focused on the Danish tax, while ignoring what really matters in the end…disposable income. Yes we do pay a lot in taxes, but if you compare with an average american family of four…insurances, cost of education (university etc.), retirement funds etc etc…it all adds up…In the end there might not be that much of a difference in terms of disposable income.
Ohh well…
