In the light of the countless child abuse cases in the catholic church, the leading Danish figure in the Danish catholic church, Czeslaw Kozon, stated that “…he knew of 4-5 cases of child abuse in the Danish catholic church, but it was not his responsibility to investigate the cases, nor was it his responsibility to report them to the Danish police…” (Source)

Last year Mr. Kozon voiced that he supported the excommunication of a Brazillian woman who had helped her 9-year-old daughter get an abortion…after the daughter had been raped by her stepdad and had become pregnant…The stepdad was not excommunicated. If the 9-year-old hadn’t gotten an abortion, she would most likely have died…Kozon didn’t see that as an excuse.(Source)

What a responsible, trustworthy and great guy huh…A true Man of God!

I’m stating the bloody obvious, but if you have knowledge of child abuse, it’s your God damn responsibility to take action and report it to the police…preferably AFTER you’ve kicked the living daylights out of the scumbag. Failing to report child abuse is a misdemeanor/felony (depending on how serious the case is) here in Denmark and is punished with fines or prison…hopefully this a**hole will have to answer for his lack of action.

While we’re at it…Denmark is, as mentioned earlier, not the only place where “Men of God” have partaken in “unhealthy leisure time activities” (rape and sexual abuse) with children:

Sexual abuse happens within all groups…Should the catholic church be any different? Well…If you put yourself on a piedestal telling your followers how to live their lives…then yes!

Apparently the catholic church with its priests and nuns are no different from other goups and therefore no closer to God (or Thor or The Unicorn or Shiiva…) nor are they perveyors of some kind of Truth …and therefore does not hold any authority in regards to judging what’s wrong or what’s right…That it’s wrong to be gay, wrong to have an abortion, wrong to have premarital sex etc etc…The Catholic church has disqualified itself basically.
